Summary
The project includes two international mobilities - advance planning visit and youth exchange. Team leaders will take part in advance planning visit and in the youth exchange together with 7 participants from each country: from Poland, Turkey, Hungary, Greece and Macedonia.
Leaders are mostly youth workers or volunteers significantly involved in the organization's activities. They demonstrate the need for personal development in the field of project management and acquiring knowledge about new methods and tools for working with young people, as well as strengthening cooperation between partner organizations and developing new ideas for expanding the offer and improving the services offered by organizations.
The participants are a group of young people who reported their needs to volunteer organizations (mainly European Solidarity Corps Volunteering), improving communication skills in an international team, understanding diversity, and enabling informal exchange of experiences.
The workshops to be organized during the project are based on non-formal education methods such as presentations, case studies, World Café, learning by doing, getting to know each othe games, team building games, information sessions, individual and group work, city game, individual and group reflection , evaluation, role-playing, brainstorming, debate, performing "volunteer" tasks, energizers, planning session, etc.
The project aims to:
- encouraging participants to become active citizens, especially volunteering,
- gaining knowledge by participants about a specific program - Volunteering under the European Solidarity Corps program, as well as checking themselves as a volunteer,
- creating a cover letter for the selected volunteer host organization,
- exchange of "good practices" between youth organizations, extension of the network of contacts and strengthening the cooperation between project partners,
- promotion of the Erasmus + program and the European Solidarity Corps, including Voluntary Service
The implementation of the project's objectives will help meet the needs of young people (knowledge of the European Solidarity Corps Volunteering program, testing themselves as a volunteer, the need to acquire knowledge about cultural diversity in Europe and the "safe" promotion of your culture while adapting to the culture of the country in which they should stay, the need to study the secrets of volunteering, the need to establish international contacts and work in an international team) and partner organizations (the need to develop tools and methods in working with young people and increase the number of partners).
