Summary

This project aims to create an environment in which participants will use elements of non-formal education for personal and professional development and thus increase the chance to integrate into the labour market. The critical problems and needs that this project recognizes are unemployment, social exclusion, needs for personal and professional development of young people, and integration into the labour market. European statistics confirm the problems mentioned above: that in March 2021, 2.951 million young persons (under 25) were unemployed in the EU, of whom 2.373 million were in the euro area. Compared with March 2020, the numbers show that youth unemployment increased by 319 000 in the EU and 208 000 in the euro area.
The objectives we strive to achieve are:
1. Formulation of a theoretical framework, which will make it easier for a group of 30 participants from 5 countries to define the causes of complex integration of young people into the labour market, and raise awareness of possible risks of that difficulty;
2. Strengthening practical and digital skills, which will provide better involvement in modern workflows for a group of 30 participants.
3. Supporting the process of self-reflection and evaluation of individual abilities and potentials necessary for integration into the labour market through 4 sessions that will bring together 30 participants from 5 countries within two days;
4. Development of social, civic, and multicultural competencies necessary for sustainable integration into the labour market, as well as for the promotion of the values of the European Union among 30 participants using informal methods;
5. Application of acquired skills and attitudes that 30 project participants will achieve by designing and implementing educational visual and video content distributed to the general public through social networks.
