It will be held in Ankara, June 2-8 -2018, where 35 young people, aged between 18 and 30, from the partner countries will participate. The main aim of this youth exchange is to give participants the space and tools to discover some healthy nutrition skills and sports skills from different angles in order to clarify their understanding. The need to implement this project came as young people are surrounded by fast-food technology and food, which drew their attention from a healthy life based on healthy movement and nutrition.Obesity is one of the most challenging public health concerns of the 21st century. Sedentary lifestyles, addictions, unhealthy nutrition and disease remain one of the most salient problems in today’s Europe.European Obesity Day (EOD) brings people together to raise awareness and increase knowledge about obesity and the many other diseases on which it impacts. The survey, launched on the occasion of the European Day Against Obesity (May 18, 2015), shows that six out of 10 people are overweight or obese, and in 2030 the report could reach nine out of 10 people. Nearly a quarter of Europeans do not know that obesity can be a cause of heart disease, diabetes and hypertension, fewer than half recognize the link between obesity and stroke and only 18% are aware of its association with cancer. Among young Europeans, statistics show that one in seven young people is overweight or obese. Thus, the theme of the project is to promote a healthy lifestyle based on proper movement and nutrition. In this respect, the project objectives are: Increase the number of information on the benefits of a healthy life based on sport and healthy eating and to promote sports and healthy eating among 28 young people aged 18 to 30 and 7 leader fromTurkey, Serbia, Lithuania, Italy,Romania, Poland and Spain over a period of time seven days; The project will be based on non-formal and formal learning methods and will be highly participatory and experiential. The activities that were suggested led to a better understanding of the need for a healthy lifestyle and in the same time they will learn how to have a healthy nutrition. To meet these goals, over the course of seven days, young people will participate in outdoor activities and information activities on the most important aspects of nutrition. Among the working methods that we will use, we can list: presentation, debate, free discussion, teamwork, case study. The expected impact on participants is the development of teamwork skills and improved information about an active lifestyle. Promoters will benefit from promotion through the visibility and dissemination stages performed, and the members of the target group will have the opportunity to participate in workshops where they will be able to develop their teamwork skills and information on a style healthy life.
